From a weekly newspaper…
Founded in 1943 by World War II France Libre exiles, France-Amérique became in the 1960’s the international weekly edition of Le Figaro, one of France’s largest daily newspapers.
Following its acquisition by Louis Kyle, owner of the publishing company FrancePress, LLC, France-Amérique merged in April 2007 with the Journal Français, America’s monthly French-language journal published since 1978, thus becoming a twice-monthly journal.
In May 2008, France-Amérique will undergo a new revamp with the launch of a monthly edition that offers a substantial increase in content and sophistication, with the introduction of new columns and at least 48 pages in every issue, presented in a magazine-style and more up-to-date format.

- A look at the French cultural scene
- French film and book reviews
- The best of French cuisine and wines
